Argentina had an immigration spurt at the beginning of the 19th Century.  This mix of cultures is one thing that led to the development of the tango.

"Most immigrants were single men hoping to earn their fortunes in this newly expanding country." Then I would put a put a summarizing or recap sentence here and include the link to the quote.

Preparation for a New Semester
